Licensees

(Last published: 03 Mar 2010)

Trade measurement is an important foundation of the national economic infrastructure and licensees are at the very core of this system. NMI is committed to communicating with licensees to ensure a smooth transition to an efficient national trade measurement system.

Newsletters

So that licensees have a clear understanding of their requirements and obligations we regularly produce newsletters (see side panel) for both servicing licensees and public weighbridge licensees to keep them informed about changes and initiatives as we build the new national trade measurement system together:

  • Issue 1 covers the national system and some changes that will arise such as a transfer to a national licence system
  • Issue 2 covers fees prescribed in the Regulations, classes of licences and an update on the information management system
  • Issue 3 covers the various administrative forms licensees will need to utilise, the process of registering contact details with NMI and issues relating to the national criminal history reporting requirements
