Training and Competency

NMI has developed a nationally recognised training framework for verifiers and weighbridge operators aimed at increasing competence. Since 1 July 2010 verifiers and weighbridge operators have been expected to complete a recognition kit to demonstrate they are competent. Competent applicants are awarded a statement of attainment. There is no fee to enrol in the recognition process within the first two years of national trade measurement.
