Air Quality

Air pollution is a major environmental concern and the state of our air is an important factor in the quality of life. It affects the health of the community and determines the sustainability of our lifestyles and production methods. Even small improvements in the quality of air can achieve benefits for human health, well-being and productivity. There are a number of national standards relating to the management of air quality and a focus on reducing emissions from industry, transport and the residential sector. The standards are intended to protect the community against the detrimental health impacts of air pollution and provide a consistently healthy environment for all residents.

NMI provides a range of air testing services which address the needs of emission testing for industry as well as ambient and indoor air testing. Click here for more information on our air testing services and here for information on vapour intrusion.
