NMI is:
NATA accreditation
NATA accreditation is generally a prerequisite for appointment and reappointment of authorities and is a legal requirement for verifying authorities for utility meters. All of the authorities listed below are NATA accredited with the exception of SA Office of Consumer and Business Affairs.
Whilst these organisations can issue regulation 13 certificates under the national measurement legislation which have evidential status, measurement reports issued by these authorities are not acceptable for use in other NATA-accredited laboratories under the NATA rules.
